Meet Hazel Hart, the face of Handful of Health: curious about nutrition, mildly obsessed with pistachios, and here to make healthy habits feel much less complicated.
Her role is to turn the science behind the workbook into friendly, practical content: nut-by-nut explainers, whole-food pairings, digestion-aware routines, shopping ideas and the occasional reminder that healthy does not need to mean joyless.
The visual intro is ready. The final intro video is still being produced, so this is currently a preview rather than a playable video.
INTRO VIDEO COMING SOONThe goal is not to turn nuts into a miracle food. It is to make one nutrient-dense food category easier to use consistently inside an overall balanced diet.
Walnuts, almonds, pistachios, pecans, cashews and others have different nutrient profiles. The rotation helps you use that variety on purpose.
Learn easy combinations with vegetables, fruit, oats, yogurt and other everyday foods so nuts are not just something you eat standing over the pantry.
Simple tracking helps you see whether timing, portions, hydration or different varieties line up with changes in hunger or digestion.
Every section has a job: teach the basics, help you choose, make the habit practical, and give you a way to learn from your own month.
A glimpse at how a daily page turns information into something you can actually do.
The workbook is designed to remove the tiny decisions that usually kill a new habit. You still choose what fits you, but you are never staring at a bag of almonds wondering what the “plan” was supposed to be.
“Natural” is not automatically better absorbed, and supplements are not automatically better nutrition. They do different jobs. The workbook explains the difference without turning it into a cage match.
Dietary fat helps the body absorb fat-soluble nutrients. Nuts provide mostly unsaturated fats, making them a practical pairing with foods rich in carotenoids and fat-soluble vitamins.
*The workbook does not recommend starting or stopping supplements. Supplement needs can depend on diet, deficiency, medications and medical conditions.
Foods can bring nutrients together with fiber, protein, unsaturated fats and plant compounds. That broader food matrix is one reason health guidance generally prioritizes a varied diet rather than replacing meals with pills.
Supplements can help fill specific gaps, and some supplemental nutrient forms can be more bioavailable than the same nutrient in certain foods. More absorbed does not automatically mean more beneficial, especially at unnecessarily high doses.
Fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K depend to varying degrees on dietary fat for absorption. Research also shows that co-consuming fat can increase absorption of carotenoids from vegetables. The workbook turns that science into simple meal-pairing ideas.
Tap a variety for a quick preview. The workbook goes deeper on portions, nutrients, pairings and where each one fits into the month.
Notable for alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant omega-3 fat. Easy to add to oats, yogurt, fruit or salads.
You are not expected to overhaul your diet on day one. The month builds gradually, so variety and fiber do not arrive like a dietary flash mob.
Learn practical portions, establish your baseline and introduce variety without suddenly loading up on fiber.
Use different nuts with fruit, oats, yogurt, vegetables and meals while learning what each variety contributes.
Experiment with breakfast, snack and meal timing to see what fits your hunger, convenience and routine.
Choose the varieties, portions and pairings you actually want to keep once the workbook ends.
Printable and digital-friendly pages help you notice your nut rotation, water, hunger, digestion, timing, grocery needs and weekly reflections. The point is pattern recognition, not winning the Spreadsheet Olympics.
